Combat fitness training for for female only is now available at Long Beach
Tang soo Do Academy.  The training days are Monday, Wednesday, and the
2nd, 3rd, 4th Friday of each month.  Time: 6pm to 7pm.

Moo Duk Kwan

The Moo Duk Kwan Emblem:

  1. The fourteen laurel leaves on each side of the fist represent the fourteen states of Korea and the advancement of peace.
  2. The three seeds joined to the laurel leaves on each side of the emblem representthe three thousand Li" (the distance running north to south) of the "Land of the Morning Calm" and its success.
  3. The six seeds in total indicate the world and represent the six continents.
  4. The fist represents Tang Soo Do and Justice. 
  5. The korean character in the center of the circle mean's Moo Duk Kwan.
  6. The character on the left of the circle mean's Tang and character on the right of the circle mean's Soo.
 
                                           
         As a whole, the emble symbolizes the spreading of Moo Duk kwan througout the
         fourteen states and then across the oceans to the six continents of the world.
         Moo Duk Kwan, as an international institution, is to achieve the objectives of peace
         and human advancement as the emblem symbolizes.

Now is a great time to learn Self-Defense.  At Long Beach Tang Do Academy  our unique program for men, women , and children will help you learn the basics quickly and easily.
 
In just a few short months, you will have the new found confidence that come's from knowing you could protect yourself and your family.
 
But that's just the beginning of our program.  We will also help you gain a new level of personal fitness through our stretching routines and cardiovascular workouts.
 
 
 
 
                                                 Rules of the Dojang
                                                 ________________
 
 
1. Upon entering the Dojang, bow to the Korean and American flags on the wall.
 
2. Bow to all Black Belts.
 
3. Be on time for your training.
 
4. Refrain from idle chatter and horseplay.
 
5. Alcholic beverages, soft drinks, juices, and food are not permitted in the Dojang.
 
6. Do not wear street shoes in the training area.
 
7. Smoking is prohibited in and around the Dojang.
 
8. No teaching without the Instructor's permission.
